Blind Congress is the musical outlet of TL Goodwin. TL is a multifaceted creative. Not only does he create music, but he has been learning how to master his own work, and edit and produce video. He is mainly known for his lapidary
work and his metalsmithing. Starting out, he expected to be a writer and a painter, but his love of art, stone and metal moved him toward jewelry, and along the way, he picked up this music thing. Inspired by industrial and new age
music, he built a system of stereo components with a couple of cheap keyboards and went at it.

Those components later became a computer with a tracking program. Then a computer with instruments and stereo monitors. He finds this revolutionary and open to infinite possibility.
Approaching 60, he does not identify with the boomer generation and was early to reject most classic rock. Instead, he sought the New Wave, techno-industrial, and “space music”. Malcolm McLaren, Vangelis, Clock DVA, OMD and The Legendary
Pink Dots were his guides, as were Pink Floyd, Coil, Nurse with Wound, Genesis, and New Order. His modern inspiration, well, that’s hard to say. It’s Indie. He likes many genres.
See who TL dentifies is being his major influences
As a boy he listened to a lot of country, classical, and easy listening music.
He whistled a lot when he was a child.
He hopes to be involved in some movie soundtracks sometime. With or without video, he will continue to see these movies in his head and try to show you audibly.
